Woonona High School is proud to be involved in the following extra-curricular activities in the area of Drama:

Woonona High School Drama program runs activities that enhance and extend students interests and knowledge beyond the classroom.  Excursions to see live theatre performances and workshops are an integral part of the education of a Drama student, and students will be offered every opportunity to see exciting live performances throughout the year. In 2017 students were offered excursions to OnStage, IPAC, Merrigong Theatre, Circus Oz, Circus Monoxide, South Coast Drama Festival and Southern Stars at the Win Stadium.

Students are also encouraged and offered the opportunity to perform regularly in front of live audiences.  In 2017 students in Year 11 Drama were involved in the South Coast Drama Festival and the Year 7 CAPA Class made a green screen movie for Variety Night.

In 2018 students will be offered the opportunity to be involved in whole school performance in Term 2. This year our whole school CAPA production is ‘Alice in Wonderland.' The performance will require students to audition for roles and attend weekly rehearsals. The performances will be held on Thursday 21st June 2018.
