On Thursday 27 September Woonona High School farewelled the Year 12, 2018 cohort with the traditional Graduation Ceremony. The school hall was full with families, friends, teachers and peers of the year 12 group as we celebrated and acknowledged their time here at Woonona High.
It was an emotional ceremony full with laughter, and a few tears as we wished them all the best for the future and their HSC exams.
At the ceremony both academic and social success was acknowledged. Major awards included:
J.N. Webster Trophy for Service to the School: 2018 Captains, Elly Moore and Keegan Loxton
Woonona Lions Club Trophy for Service to the School: 2018 Vice Captains, Sam Inzinger and Charlie-Pearl Cram
Outstanding Academic Achievement: Sam Inzinger, Kye Linsley, Emily Nicholson, Freya Robinson, Liam Robinson, Jezebel Spence
Excellent Academic Achievement: Taryn Boyle, Jade O’Brien
Most Conscientious Student Award: Hayley Walker
