Technology and Applied Studies (TAS)
The Technology and Applied Studies (TAS) faculty at Woonona High School offers a broad range of subjects designed to develop students’ practical skills and technological knowledge. The faculty delivers mandatory Technology courses that introduce students to essential concepts and hands on experiences, fostering creativity, problem solving and an appreciation for innovation. These foundational courses prepare students for more specialised study within the TAS curriculum whilst preparing students for life beyond the classroom.

Learning Beyond the Classroom
In addition to the core curriculum, the TAS faculty at Woonona High School runs extra curricular programs such as Cafe Club and Textiles Club
- The Cafe Club gives students the opportunity to apply their hospitality and food technology skills in a real world setting, enhancing teamwork, customer service and business skills.
- The Textiles Club provides a creative space for students interested in fabric arts to explore new techniques, collaborate on projects and showcase their work.
